Book a free boiler survey
Ready to discuss a replacement gas boiler in person? Arrange a home visit to assess your heating, talk through your options and get a personalised quote, with no obligation to go ahead.
You’ll continue to British Gas to check availability and arrange your appointment. Your details are entered on its website. Here4Homes may receive a commission for a valid booking, at no extra cost to you.
What happens at the appointment?
Allow around 90 minutes for a survey of your home and heating system. You can discuss your heating and hot-water needs, where the boiler will go and any changes you are considering. The expert will explain suitable options and leave you with a personalised quote.
Is this the right service for you?
This service is for homeowners considering a new gas boiler in a UK residential property. Appointment availability depends on your postcode. It does not cover oil or electric boilers, commercial properties, routine servicing or an emergency repair.
A few things to have ready
Think about how your household uses heating and hot water, any rooms that are hard to heat and whether you want to move the boiler. If you know your current boiler’s make, model or age, have those details to hand. You do not need to open the boiler casing.
Ask what the quote includes
Check installation, controls, removal of the old boiler, finishing work and warranty conditions. Ask whether any building, electrical or scaffolding work is needed and how that would affect the price. Make sure you understand the complete written quote before deciding.
How to arrange your visit
Continue to the booking website and enter your postcode to check availability in your area. Follow its steps to arrange the appointment and provide accurate contact details so the team can reach you about your booking.
