When you request quotes
Some quote buttons take you to a partner website. That provider explains how it handles the information you enter on its site.
For some services, you can complete a quote request on Here4Homes. The form asks for your postcode, job details, timing, budget and contact details. When you submit it, we pass the request to MyJobQuote so suitable tradespeople may contact you about the work. The form includes the terms and privacy information to read before you agree to send it.
Asbestos quote forms are provided by LeadsDoWork (Local Quotes). Please read the provider information shown with the form before submitting your details.
We also keep records needed to process requests, prevent misuse, check whether a request was accepted and record introductions or commission. We may record steps completed in a form to understand where people need help. We use contact information supplied through the quote form to process that request.
Optional Here4Homes emails
If you choose to subscribe, we will email you to confirm your subscription. Once you confirm, we will send home-improvement tips and selected offers from Here4Homes. Joining is optional and does not affect your quote request. You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails.
We use your name, email address, postcode, phone number, selected service, budget and preferred start timing, together with the page and category you signed up from and available information about how you reached our site, to manage your subscription, personalise our emails and understand which pages and advertising bring subscribers. This can include the referring website, original landing page, advertising click and keyword identifiers, language and country information. We do not include your written job description in your newsletter profile. Newsletter signup does not subscribe you to telephone, text-message or WhatsApp marketing.
We use Brevo to manage subscriptions and deliver these emails on our behalf. Our emails use tracking to record delivery, opens and link clicks; the confirmation link records your opt-in. We record when and where you signed up and the wording you agreed to. If you do not confirm within seven days of registration, we delete the unconfirmed contact from Brevo. A temporary delivery queue on our server is cleared when registration is processed, or within 24 hours if it cannot be processed. If you unsubscribe, we retain the suppression information needed to prevent further marketing emails.
